Services
Our normal pattern of services is as follows: On Wednesdays we have a simple spoken service of Holy Communion using the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer complied in 1662. This service is followed by a simple meal of soup and a roll. Although there is no obligation to stay for that you would be very welcome. On Sundays we have services at 8am, 10am and 6.30pm. The 8am service is a simple spoken service of Holy Communion using traditional language but following a modern worship structure. There is a short sermon of about 2-3 minutes. The 10am service is our main service. It is a service of Holy Communion with hymns, organ and a choir. It usually lasts a little over an hour. At 6.30pm we have an additional service which is usually quieter and more meditative but still has some music. These services vary according to which Sunday of the month it is, as follows:
Although this is our standard pattern, we usually have something special each month so please check the calendar. |
