Christain Aid is a charity aiming to hep fight against injustice and poverty mostly overseas in Third World Countries. At St Philip and St James we are involved with the annual House-to-house collection. Volunteers go around the village delivering envelopes. Each envelope delivered proclaims Jesus’ good news to the poor. And each envelope collected could help people living in poverty around the world.
Once a year we hone our competitive edges to take part in the Quiz and Chips fish and chip supper in October with teams from other Alderley churches. This is great fun so keep an eye out in the September newsletter to see details of how to get involved!
