Who do we work with?
We participate in a scheme set up by the charity Fairshare to collect surplus food from Tesco Express in Alderley Edge.
For more information visit www.fairshare.org.uk
We have the capacity to collect surplus perishable food from other businesses in Alderley Edge. We don’t collect fish or meat but are very keen to collect more fruit and vegetables and bakery products.
We distribute our food via a number of partner organisations.
- Hampers of Hope. Hampers of Hope run job clubs for unemployed people and food banks for people who are short of food in Wilmslow, Knutsford and Handforth. Their website is www.hampersofhope.co.uk. We take perishable and non-perishable food to their centres in Knutsford and Wilmslow and also distribute hampers to people referred to them who live in Alderley Edge. www.hampersofhope.co.uk
